This is my midterm for figure drawing. Last month was fairly difficult, homework wise and emotionally, so it was nice to have an excuse to make the kind of art I would normally be doing to let out some stress as a homework assignment.

This thing is 2'x3', and I used acrylics, pastels, charcoal, watercolor and color pencils.

WAH. I thought I was going to go a bit crazy with all those moths.

Wow, so scary but amazing the obscure way of expression.

brilliant. This caught my eye as I wanted to make something similar for similar reasons, but damn, there's no need. You done it perfectly, I can just enjoy looking at this one!

No!! You should still try and draw out whatever was in your head. I draw these kind of pictures practically for therapy reasons. I felt the same way towards this artist ~glittersniffer, but then I figured out my own sort of symbolism to work out how I was feeling, and it kept going from there.
I'm really happy you like my work though. :)
And hey, if you ever do your own version I would LOVE to see.

i really like the contradiction: the inner-self-style resembles photography compared to the outer-drawing-(drowning)-world
